The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) has introduced on its mobile application, the E-payment platform to facilitate and speed up port clearance related transactions for importers and exporters.
The E-payment platform, according to the Authority, will allow for the payment of Terminal Handling Charges by traders.
Payment, the Authority also noted in a release can be made through mobile money (MoMo), Visa Card and MasterCard.

Payment via Mobile Money (MoMo) option
- Log on to www.ghanaports.gov.gh
- Click on invoice payment and subsequently on Terminal Handling Charges
- Provide invoice number and click on search invoice
- Provide email address, phone number and full name to proceed
- Select preferred payment option from payment options (MoMo)
- Click pay to process the payment
- Approve payment on your mobile phone and clink on confirm to complete the payment process
- You will receive a payment notification on your phone in the form of SMS message
- Present the notification as evidence of payment when coming for service delivery
Payment via Visa/Master Card option
- Log on to www.ghanaports.gov.gh
- Click on invoice payment and subsequently on Terminal Handling Charges
- Provide invoice number and click on search invoice
- Provide email address, phone number and full name to proceed
- Select preferred payment option from payment options (Visa/Master Card)
- Provide your full name as displayed on your card, card number, date of expiry and CVC code
- Click pay to process the payment
- You will receive an OTP code on your phone, enter the code in the box below and click on submit to proceed
- You will receive payment confirmation/notification on your phone in the form of SMS message
- Present the notification as evidence of payment when coming for service delivery
