The Institute of Directors-Ghana (IoD-Gh) has now been recognised as a full professional Institute authorised to regulate directors in Ghana, in pursuit of good corporate governance.
This is after the Institute registered under the Professional Bodies Registration Act.
Speaking at the induction of 57 new persons as members of the Institute, Mr Rockson Dogbegah, Director of the Institute stated that the decision to get the Institute registered as a full professional institute, is to bring advancement in good governance in the corporate system through enforcement of code of ethics and provision of education and professional development.
Mr Dogbegah therefore pleaded with appointees to hold in high esteem leadership ethics of the Institution and promote good corporate governance.
He also entreated members who attained Fellow status to demonstrate high level of commitment and promote the objectives of the Institute.
