Young Investment Network (YIN), a group with a commitment to educating the Ghanaian youth in financial literacy, has secured an international partnership with the US-based Young Investment Society (YIS).
The partnership between the groups was announced by the Young Investment Network (YIN).
According to YIN, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between them and the Young Investment Society.
Per the MOU, the two institutions are to collaborate in the areas of financial literacy for students in Ghana and to also formalize the already existing relationship for the “purpose of creating a partnership”
Young Investors Society, an education management institution, which is headquartered in Westlake, California is dedicated to preparing the next generation of investors.
Like its sister partner, Young Investors Network was established “…for the next generation of investors”.
The two institutions will collaborate in organizing;
- Stock Pitch Competition to include Senior High Schools
- Cedi-A-Day Challenge
- CYIA Designation
- CFA Institute Investment Foundation Program
In a related development, the President and the Executive Director of the Young Investors Network, Mr. Joshua Mensah and Mr. Kofi B. Kyei have both been appointed as Ambassadors of the Young Investors Society in Ghana.
As part of their roles, they are to increase participation and awareness of both Young Investors Network and Young Investors Society.
